Odware develops based upon opensource, where flexibility is maintained. With only building blocks, the desired result is not always finished. The finishing is essential in order to create a custom made and/or unique application. This can be in the form of design, navigation structure and special additional functions, but also frontend-techniques such as Flex or AJAX for a rich user experience (web 2.0).
Company Community
Video on Demand and user generated content are the ingredients for a company community that has recently been developed. A web 2.0 phone directory, in which staff members can promote themselves by managing their own skills and experience. They can also add video-clips in order to visually enhance their role. Company news and training courses are also distributed within the portal. In order to increase the acceptance, a competition-element has been added in which staff members can rate each other’s video’s. The result is an attractive environment where knowledge is easy to access, increased company involvement and personal experience.
